A self-taught artist from Montpellier, The Wizard find his inspiration in social, urban and city life.
Directly inspired by street art, this work contrasts an illusionary, naïve and acidic pictoral universe with a more sombre vision of the world.
The Wizard choses to work in deep pictures, using the technical constraints of their frames to represent the social constraints suffered by his characters.
In this exhibition, The Wizard applies a lamella technique taking his inspiration from the lithospheric plates that make up the Earth. Here they represent the different stages of human life.
